Our timber carries FSC chain-of-custody certification, which means the wood in your order can be traced back through every party that handled it. The certification is independently audited and renewed on schedule. It is issued in our own name — not borrowed through a trading partner.

Coatings, Adhesives and Finishes

Everything that touches the wood is selected on food-contact safety first. Our lacquer comes from a leading wood-coatings manufacturer and carries food-contact certification; unlacquered lines are finished with white oil, mineral oil or olive oil. Panel adhesives meet food-grade requirements. We never dye or stain wood to imitate a more expensive species.

We have passed BSCI factory audits and hold both the social and labour reports. The more telling figure is retention: most of our hundred-plus craftsmen are in their forties, have worked wood for twenty years, and many have been here the whole time. Stable employment is what social compliance is actually measuring.

Wood Species Customisation

Dozens of species held in stock, selected on grain, tone, hardness, cost and destination-market preference. All timber is milled and kiln-dried in-house, with moisture metered before shipment.

Using the Whole Log

After debarking, 90–95% of each log ends up in a product. Offcuts become spoons, bread knives and other small items; wider pieces go into edge-glued panels. Sawdust and small blocks are sold on for biomass and pellet fuel. Our kilns run on electricity, and every building on site carries rooftop solar.

Custom Order Process

All six stages are carried out in our own factory, with no subcontracting. Sampling takes 5–7 days; production runs 25–30 days from approved sample.

1. Enquiry & Brief

You provide product category, quantity, destination market and any drawing or reference image. We confirm feasibility and list what information is still required.

2. Drawing & Quotatio

We work to your file, or our design team produces a production-ready 3D drawing. Quotation covers wood species, structure, finish, packaging and unit price.

Sample-Confirmation

3. Sampling

CNC carving produces the first physical piece. Lead time 5–7 days. Sample fee RMB 300–500 depending on size and complexity.

4. Sample Approval

The sample ships for your inspection. Structural or dimensional adjustments are re-sampled until you sign off. The approved sample becomes the production standard.

Quality-Control-for-tableware

5. Material Preparation & Production

Timber is milled and kiln-dried to specification, then carved, sanded, primed, sealed and oiled. Key finishing steps are hand-worked. 25–30 days once material is dry, plus approximately 15 days if starting from green logs.

Packaging-and-Shipping

6. Inspection & Shipping

Full-batch inspection against the approved sample, covering dimensions, surface and moisture content. Packed to your specification and loaded.

Yes. Dimensions, proportions, handle profile, wood species and finish can all be adjusted on an existing model, which shortens development and reduces cost.
